This presentation will provide the truth behind the theft of 53 million acres of land during a time when fraud within the Indian Bureau was nefarious. The details and background of the 1861 Treaty of Fort Wise with the Cheyenne and Arapaho people reveal one of the most sordid examples of fraud ever in Indian Country.

Educational Curriculums

PSL’s curriculum presents Native American history in a factual, inquiry-based way, fostering critical thinking and emotional reflection. It was well-received by non-Native students, engaging them in advocacy and allyship. Both parents and teachers praised its impact, with students showing strong emotional and intellectual connections to the material. The curriculum has been recommended by BVSD and is under review by SVVSD.
